Summer & Mid-Year Newsletter

Hi Friends of St Martins School,

Time does fly when there is a lot to be done, this first half of the year is no different, in fact it has been hard and challenging in many ways and as things stand, the second half might be even more challenging.

Climate change and inflation have impacted us greatly and with no rains in the last two years, there has been an increase in food prices by more than 200%. We foresee a challenge in feeding our children in the next half and we are hopeful that through your support we will be in a better position to feed the children until the end of the year.

Due to the pandemic, the current school calendar year runs from 26th April 2022 to 26th November 2022 for non graduating students while graduating students will be sitting their final year exams in December 2022. The academic year is very short yet the students and teachers must cover the syllabus.

I take this opportunity to thank our sponsors and the donor community for the support we receive and continue to receive in helping us achieve our set goals and obligations.
